Who is in charge?

Well it depends. If the captain is away then the sergeant is. But if the Colonel is present the sergeant and the captain takes a back seat.

When Jesus came he brought with him his authority. The waves had to obey him, demons begged for mercy, sickness melted into health all because of Christ’s authority. Here we see Christ’s authority to forgive sin and learn that the only person who has that authority is God. This therefore makes Christ God. But sadly the ones who worked this out made up their minds to kill God, Why? Because they did not want to submit to Christ’s authority, they wanted to be in charge. We all struggle with Christ’s authority over our lives. But know this, if you want your sins forgive then you must acknowledge and then submit to Christ’s authority.
