God’s Xmas present

Santa is known to come every year with presents. But as even children know, the presents don’t last. They get broken, they get boring, and they get replaced. Unlike Santa, God has given the world only one Xmas present. But since Santa doesn’t like competition, he and his mates organised ‘X’ to replace Christ to hide the fact that his presents are lousy compared to God’s. Once upon a time Xmas used to be called Christmas. It used to be about Jesus Christ, who is for us God’s gift.

Unwrap the present

Jesus Christ came to make it possible for people to make up with God. Even though we started the fight, Jesus came to bring reconciliation. Christ brings hope of life after death, He gives forgiveness of sins, He heals the broken hearted and grants everlasting life to those who call upon His name. In short, Christ’s death and resurrection enables people to re-connect with God.
