1 Peter 1:1-9 Seeing trials as opportunities James confronts us from the very beginning. Consider trials with joy. Christ’s Kingdom is the upside down kingdom and so we should not be surprised to find that we are to have an attitude of joy in the midst of hardship. The reason why we can do this is because we understand that hardship has a purpose and that purpose has a process and that process will make us spiritually mature. As we grow in our Christian maturity we will grow in our ability to turn trials into triumphs. the Rev
