• Share a time when you stuffed up and had to face the music, how did you feel?

• Discuss how sin makes us fall short of God’s glory; as children, siblings, parents, friends, workers and as Christ lovers (Rom 3:23).

• In connection with Q2 in what way has Christ redeemed you (Rom 3:24-25a)?

• How will redemption work out in practice in your life (Rom 12)?  

• Discuss how and why God allows evil to exist in our world (Rom 3:23-26).

• In your own words explain and give examples of the following words; Righteousness of God, Justification, grace, redemption, propitiation, faith in Christ.

Prayer: Dear God, forgive me for trying to redeem my own life. Help me trust Jesus to save and rescue me. I rejoice that Jesus has lifted the burden of works from me so that I can grow to be like you because I love you. Help me to live by faith, to live for you and to live for others more than I live for myself. Amen
