Romans 6:20-23 Be God’s SlaveExercisesDiscuss the ‘before and after’ contrast found in v20-21. Share specifically a ‘before and after’ example from your own life v20-21. How might you promote less ‘before’ and more ‘after’ in your life v20-21? What is striking about the contrast in v23 and how might that encourage you?
Prayer: Heavenly Father forgive me for so often working to save my life which in reality only distances myself from you and people. Give me a change of heart so that I can connect with you and people by learning to set heart goals for each day; like showing people kindness particularly when they don’t deserve it. Use me as light and salt in peoples lives, that I might bless both you and my neighbour. Amen |
